Can't make it to any of the Mobility sessions? We understand. Life is busy, and because of that, we will be bringing the mobility sessions to a class near you. This will it will be at the 6PM class. Even if you are not staying for the class, come for the shoulder love.
2014 Fairbanks Fitness Derby Event 4: Double Unders-- MAX REPS *Athletes will be given one attempt to link together as many consecutive Double Unders as Possible. *If you do not complete more than 5 it will be considered a scratch. Each athlete will be given 2 scratches and will be allowed to reattempt. There is still time to sign up for Saturday's Event! You can do so by visiting www.fairbanksfitnessderby.com . WOD 7/16/14 WORKOUT Back squat 5-5-5 Shoulder Press 5-5-5 Deadlift 5-5-5 Work up to 85% for your LAST set of EACH lift. Rest NO LESS than three minutes between each working set. Your coach will provide you with recommended warm-up sets and strategies for each lift.

Very proud to announce the winners of the last Whole 30 challenge. Marina and Cory both tied for the most improvements in the last 30 days. Cory lost 12 lbs and 10 inches and showed a 30% improvement in her reps in the test Wod. Marina lost 5 lbs but also lost 10 inches and she almost doubled her reps when she repeated the test Wod. This is a great example of how the number on the scale cannot be what dictates improvements. Instead you should go on how your clothes fit and how you perform in the workouts. Congrats ladies!!!! Very proud of you both
